Shaun Howe at Gnaraloo

This shot here is one of my favourite and personal best fisheye shots to date. The two to three hours I spent in the water this day was physically the hardest I've had yet which made this shot even more rewarding. Shaun Howe surfs this place as good as anyone. This shot is also a good example of the saying 'It's not what you know it's who you know.' It is critical with photography to develop a good relationship with your client or magazine. As I predominantly shoot bodyboarding my contacts in the surf industry were low and to cut it short. This shot didn't get a run. Which I am pretty pissed about but these things are bound to happen with the amount of photographers out there these days.

I'm hoping this shot sparks up a bit of commotion to kick this blog back into gear.
